Who We Are

Empowering Communities for a Sustainable Future

At the Rift Valley Conservation Center, we believe that true conservation can only be achieved through the active involvement of local communities. By providing education and resources, we empower residents to become stewards of their environment, ensuring that both nature and people thrive together.

What We Envision we envision a thriving Rift Valley where people and nature live in harmony—where vibrant ecosystems are protected, every child has access to environmental education, and communities lead the way in sustainable living. We see a future where: Wetlands, forests, and wildlife flourish through community-led conservation. Rural schools become hubs of environmental learning and innovation. Local voices are central in shaping environmental policy and action. The next generation of conservation leaders rises from the very communities most affected by ecological change. Our vision is rooted in hope, resilience, and equity—a world where education empowers, nature heals, and every person finds joy and purpose in protecting the planet they call home.
